Joshua Smith has been with ADG since April 2007 with 16 total years of diverse experience in various project types throughout the country. He works directly with clients to bring their ideas to a reality. Teamwork is a skill he has acquired and one that is necessary for organizational cohesiveness across all disciplines. He prides himself on being direct, spontaneous and communicative. His vast professional experience and educational background will contribute to your company’s expansion and growth.

Sam estes

Associate Applied Science - Architectural Technology from St. Louis Community College - Meramec, 1983

Sam Estes started at ADG in 1997 and is now a registered architect with more than 35 years of experience providing excellent customer service to our clients. Responsible for the day-today operations of the firm, including cost and margin control, providing leadership and guidance to our staff and managing customer accounts. Responsible for developing uniformly high production standards and monitoring projects to ensure the quality and production standards are met for all design and contract documents.

mARY b. k. cALVIN, NCARB, LEED

Bachelor of Architecture from University of Kansas, 2004

Mary began her career at ADG in 2004 and now has almost 17 years of experience in primarily retail project work. She likes a challenge and values teamwork and continual learning. Her responsibilities include direct client contact, leading and communicating with internal teams, coordinating with MEP/Structural/Civil/Fire Sprinkler/Fire Alarm consultants, landlords, and vendors. Mary manages multiple projects for multiple clients simultaneously. Her work involves completing site surveys, code research, design development, construction documents, preparing permit submittal packages across the U.S., and getting involved in construction administration.

John M. Bruns

Bachelor of Science from University of Missouri - Rolla, 1977

Jack began at ADG in 1997 and is now the director of engineering. He is responsible for overseeing the design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for the majority of ADG projects, including:

Power distribution

Lighting and controls

HVAC systems, both forced air-based and hydronic, with corresponding controls

Plumbing systems

Energy upgrades for institutional and commercial buildings
